Brighton-based alternative rock band Fever Rouge have released their debut 5-track EP, ‘Can You See?’ Renowned for their energetic flair and electric performances, their shows in the UK have been described as nothing short of perfect chaos.

The EP features earlier singles ‘Locked n Loaded’ and the summertime anthem ‘Golden’, alongside three new tracks: ‘Red Light Fever’ and ‘Can You See…?’ The latter serves as a poignant call to action, relaying the struggles of solitude with a poetic finesse that Maxi Jazz would be saluting. Described by the band as an “expedition of inner turmoil and rage accompanying burning adolescence“, the final track, ‘Paint Me’, runs parallel with Fever Rouge’s band history.

Brighton Based Fever Rouge

Recorded in two parts, the EP captures Fever Rouge’s evolution in sound and vocal maturity, starting with a youthful vibe and transforming into a stronger force in 2023.

Fever Rouge’s ‘Can You See?’ will be sure to impress listeners from the indie/alt/rock genre who enjoy luminaries like Arctic Monkeys, Bombay Bicycle Club, Courteeners, Babyshambles, Nine Black Alps, The Cribs, etc. But, far from pastiche, they maintain a unique sound characterised by robust vocals, solid musicianship and mighty fine songs!

The EP is out now and deserves to be listened to at high volume. And, if you get a chance, be sure to catch these guys on the road because it sounds like an experience not to be missed.
