The Team

Matt Warren

Matt Warren is a Cheshire based musician who studied contemporary music and composition. When not writing for The Indie Grid he enjoys watching ‘Breaking Bad’ on continuous loop and going to gigs. Since a youngster his fave band have been ‘The Beatles’ (with ‘Cardiacs’ in at a close second)… and this still applies to this day.

Gee Nelson

Gee Nelson has been a musician, producer and songwriter since the ’90’s. Besides music Gee loves reading, writing, watching British sitcoms and playing board games. His biggest influences are Green Day, Nirvana, Offspring and Eels. His favourite genre is 90’s and early 00’s (indie) rock.

Gareth Johnston

Gareth Johnston is a Lancashire based musician and producer who studied music at MMU. He is a former reviewer for ‘Glitzine’ and when not writing for ‘The Indie Grid’ can be found restoring old furniture whilst listening to obscure alt-rock. He has too many favourite bands to pick one and insists it’s easier to pick a favourite child.
